I’ve been in church my whole life. I was born on a Sunday morning, and I was in church that following Wednesday. My parents love the Lord and have been faithfully serving for several decades. To them being a Christian is not just about trusting Jesus to take you to heaven, but to change the way that you live day in and day out. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was five years old. As I got older, God started laying on my heart the idea of surrender—the surrender of my life to full time ministry. In 2019, I surrendered to be a missionary. In 2020, I was accepted into The Master’s University where I’ve worked toward a degree in Biblical Studies.
My dad is a pastor and because of that I’ve grown up helping my parents do ministry. Since I was a kid, I believed God was calling me to do ministry. I teach a Bible study at my church for young kids, and I absolutely love it. I believe that God has called me to work with kids and women. I’m a big believer in mentoring and discipling others. It’s a command given in Scripture and the purpose of my website and blog is another way to fulfill this command.
I’ve never had a desire to have a career outside the home. I’ve always believed that I would be a wife and a mom. Right now though I am learning what being a homemaker looks like as a single woman. I am trying to learn how to keep a home and be hospitable. I want to learn as much as I can before I am given the gift of marriage.
